Terms of Service
The short version: drop a file, see it, nothing is uploaded. Use it sensibly and at your own risk.
These Terms govern your use of PreviewAny, a trading name of M-Corp Management Limited, registered in England and Wales (company no. 11237747) ("we", "us", "the operator"). You can contact us at hello@previewany.com.
1. Acceptance
By using PreviewAny at previewany.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 13.
2. What PreviewAny does
PreviewAny previews files such as .md, .html, .jsx, .tsx, .json, .csv, .svg, and images, directly in your browser. Your files never leave your device; all processing is local. The Service is provided "as is," with no guarantee that every file renders correctly or completely.
3. Acceptable use
You are responsible for the files you use. You agree not to:
- preview files containing malware, viruses, or harmful code;
- use the Service in any way that breaks applicable law;
- attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
4. User-provided files and code
PreviewAny may render or run code from your files (for example .html or .jsx) in a sandbox inside your browser. We are not responsible for the behaviour or output of files you provide. You use the Service at your own risk.
5. Intellectual property
The PreviewAny name, design, and code are owned by or licensed to the operator. You keep full ownership of your own files. We never receive them, so we make no claim over them.
6. Disclaimer & liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind, and the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date reflects any change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not remove protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of your own country.

10. Open-source notices
PreviewAny is built on open-source software, which stays with the browser rather than a server. The Roboto typeface embedded in PDF export is used under the Apache License 2.0. ExifReader, which reads photo details, is used under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, and its unmodified source is served at previewany.com/vendor/exif-reader.js. mammoth, docx, pdfmake, DOMPurify and SheetJS are used under their respective MIT or BSD licences. The full licence text for each ships beside it in /vendor.
